Robert M. Green, age 66, of Lake Odessa passed on February 11, 2018 in his home after a battle with cancer. Bob was born on December 4, 1951 in Hastings, MI to Elmer and Elsie E. (Sexton) Green. He was very involved in his community over the years including supporting Manna’s Market and adopting local families in need for the holidays. Bob owned Bob Green Trucking that he started in 1995, hauling everything from houses to eggs. He loved his cats, but his heart was in Laughlin, NV. Gambling gave Bob a chance to unwind. Having the people he loved over to enjoy his lake house brought joy to Bob as well.
Bob leaves behind; brother Bud (Katrina) Sexton, step children Nikki Coleman, Shannon (Amber) Coleman, grandkids Lillian, Gavin, Nathon, Braxton and Bailee, right hand lady TJ (Bert) Dunklee and her two boys Hunter and Sawyer, lifelong friend Denny Powell, nieces; Shelly Cole, Kris Johnson, Lori Allerding, Susan Sexton, nephews; Jamie and John Green, cousin Judy Schlyer and fur baby Keakers.
Preceding him in death are; his parents, siblings Karen Black and Bernard Green, aunt Lois St. John and cousin David St. John.
According to Bob’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial luncheon will be held at St. Edwards Family Center on February 17, 2018 at 12pm with burial of cremated remains to be held at Lakeside Cemetery at a later date.
